On This Day In H-D history
02 July, 1912
Kenneth McColl of London, riding a H-D, wins the five mile race held in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. He finished in 6 minutes, 11.20 seconds, nearly a mile ahead of the nearest man. At the finish of the race McColl was presented with a $25 watch and fob as a prize.
