New Spring Rally gets the party started!

Senigallia, on the east coast of Italy, will host a brand new event to kick off the riding season in Europe

There was something very special about the 2024 European H.O.G.^® Rally in Senigallia, something that truly made it an event to remember. Was it the unmistakable atmosphere created by a city opening its arms to Harley-Davidson^® riders and delivering an unmatched Italian welcome? Was it the sense of discovery? Or was it the huge party that Harley-Davidson threw – spread out among the historic and very photogenic streets and squares?

Actually, you guessed: it was a combination of all of these. And now, you can relive the experience at the 2026 Harley-Davidson Spring Rally, a brand new event that runs from 30 April to 3 May. While it’s smaller than the 2026 European H.O.G. Rally, which takes place in Cascais, Portugal, between 18 and 21 June, it’s a great season opener and a chance to explore Senigallia if you haven’t been before.

Senigallia sits in northern Italy and is easy to reach from across Europe. You can do the hard miles to get to Senigallia for the Spring Rally on the highways that link central and southern regions of the continent, while also taking detours on some of the best roads the Alps or Dolomites have to offer – stopping at innumerable and stunning locations along the way.

There are two dealerships withing a short ride of Senigallia – Harley-Davidson Route 76 in Jesi and Harley-Davidson Civitanova, just south of Ancona. Naturally, there are some friendly H.O.G. chapters attached to both of these, so make sure you plan to do a guided tour when you visit. The routes in 2024 were fantastic, taking visitors into the hills and along the coastline before meeting for food, drinks and entertainment in the evening.

Harley-Davidson promises to take over much of Senigallia again, with free entertainment including live bands every evening, all of the latest Harley-Davidson motorcycles, demo rides on your favourite bikes, a centrally located Custom Bike Show and so much more – including the Harley-Davidson parade on Saturday 2 May, which became an instant icon in 2024 as it roared down several kilometres of beachfront before heading up into the hills.

There’s plenty to explore around the Marche region, all within easy reach of Senigallia – just in case the trip down didn’t hit the mark. Key places include Urbino, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the beautiful Ducal Palace, the birthplace of High Renaissance artist Raphael and home to the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche. Another famous town to visit is Ascoli Piceno, which is described as the “City of 100 Towers”, with its Piazza del Popolo paved using a prized local stone known as travertine. Especially recommended to visit in the spring.

And it’s not just the incredible Renaissance towns and cities – riding out into the local countryside gives you some spectacular experiences as well. Some of our favourites are the Furlo Pass, a gorge on the ancient Roman Via Flaminia road that allows you to traverse some narrow winding roads alongside a beautiful river. The coastal Conero peninsula boasts cliffs, forests, the turquoise Adriatic, stunning coves and lovely villages such as Sirolo and Numana.

For something a little different, try the Frasassi Caves – the Grotte di Frasassi. This is one of Europe’s largest cave systems, with unimaginable shapes including stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years and a central cave the size of several football pitches.
