Durango lies to the south of the state, near the border with New Mexico. A highlight of this area is the Four Corners region, a quadripoint where the states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah meet—it’s the only point in the U.S. shared by four states. Look out for steam rising from the slopes of the canyons, as locomotives chug their way along the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.
