European H.O.G. Rally 2026: Cascais calls!
Join us in Portugal for one of the biggest Harley Owners Group® events of 2026
If you didn’t attend the 28th European H.O.G.® Rally in 2019, you may not have heard of Cascais before – but you will surely have heard of its very close neighbour, Lisbon, capital of Portugal and a bucket list city, steeped in history. Cascais is a beach-side resort that’s a quick ride (just 33km!) from Harley-Davidson® Lisbon, and its location right at the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula makes it a unique and highly attractive location to ride your Harley-Davidson, explore and party by the Atlantic Ocean.
The coastal roads around Cascais are absolutely spectacular, as its Atlantic-dominated riviera location creates almost Hawaiian-style waves on some beaches, which also make it a surfer’s paradise… Although only experts are recommended to take to the waves at places like the Guincho beach! There’s lots more to explore too, including the stunning Boca de Inferno cliffs, but don’t worry, many of the beaches and promenades that run along the Estoril Coast are also less dramatic and totally relaxation-friendly like the Praia da Ribeira and Praia da Rainha on the Cascais seafront. And with the 32nd European H.O.G. Rally taking place from 18-21 June, the sunshine should never be far away.
You can book your official accommodation now.

Up until the 19th century, Cascais was a humble fishing village, but it was transformed by the king of Portugal, who made it the Royal Family’s official summer residence. The rich and famous followed and it became a hugely popular and wealthy resort.
Interestingly, Cascais was a hotbed of spy activity in the Second World War, with Portugal being a neutral nation – and as a result its famous Casino Estoril is said to be the inspiration for Casino Royale, the first James Bond novel written by Ian Fleming, who visited it. Sometime later, the area and both the Casino Estoril and the Hotel Palacio Estoril also played host to the cast of the 1967 James Bond film, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
The heart of the European H.O.G. Rally will be situated along the sea front in Cascais, with the main event locations including H-D Expo, which will include all of the latest 2026 motorcycles and more, plus the main stage with three nights free music entertainment, H-D dealerships, the H.O.G. Zone and lots more merchandise, parts and customisation shopping options. Entertainment will be announced soon.
H-D demos will be nearby too, allowing you to book at test ride on the best of the 2026 Harley-Davidson line-up for free – just make sure to bring your riding kit and driving licence.
As well as a spectacular opportunity to tour in Portugal or Spain on your way to Cascais, the local region offers lots of opportunity to explore. As well as Cascais itself and the Boca de Inferno just along the coast, you’ll want to explore Estoril, and of course Lisbon itself. For a magical ride-out, why not visit nearby Sintra in the hills – a world heritage site with incredible castles, churches and cobbled streets.
Other local highlights a short ride away include the Santa Marta lighthouse and museum, and the shady getaway of the Marechal Carmona Park.
There have been some very cool locations for H.O.G. rallies over the years, but as the video and photos prove, few have been as cool as Cascais. It’s time to plan your journey to the south of Portugal now – you won’t want to miss this party.
Book accommodation now and be sure to let us know you’re coming using the official Facebook event.
